“This was an amazing trip. If I could give it 6 stars I would. Lubo was a great guide! Very knowledgeable about the history of Bulgaria. Lubo taught us so much about the fascinating history of Bulgaria. He took us to 5 tombs, 1 museum, the oldest preserved Neolithic settlement and the Mosque/Church museum. Along with all of those wonderful places and the history of Bulgaria Lubo took us to eat at a wonderful local restaurant. He had us try some amazing local food. This was by far one of the best tours and guides we have ever had. I wish all tours and guides were all this passionate about…”

“This was my second tour with Bultrip in five days. Both tours were outstanding, well planned (no rushing through sites), and feature expert guides. Yesterday I had the pleasure of a private tour with “Ivo,” a trained historian who also leads day hiking tours. He’s laid back, but has an amazing knowledge of not just Bulgarian, but Balkan history and culture. By the time he dropped me off, after a very full and satisfying day, I felt I’d attended a university lecture! Which is NOT to scare anyone away, I wanted that much info! He can share as much or as little as you want. I’m delighted I found this…”
